Application Deadline Team 2022/2023: 10th August 2022

Management Department

Project Manager

As project manager it will be your responsibility to make the planning of Project Phoenix. At the start of the year this will involve being in close contact with the technical manager to decide on the goals and milestones for both the full-scale and prototype aircraft based on their dependencies. Throughout the year, you will constantly be talking to engineers to adjust the plan based on the real-time progress of tasks. It is your responsibility to identify delays before they occur, allocate and track the budget for ongoing tasks and ensure that the final product is delayed on the day it is promised. Lastly, as a result of keeping an overview of the project and its two aircraft you will be involved in strategic decisions for the future of AeroDelft and an important voice in management decisions.

Please note:

All these positions are fluid and your tasks are not strictly defined by your responsibilities. For example, a propulsion engineer will work with a partnership manager on acquiring a new partner for components of the fuel tank. All position responsibilities require you to work closely with other team members in other departments.

You are also more than welcome and encouraged to apply for any position within the team regardless of your degree background. The related degrees section is merely to provide you with an idea in which positions your degree has a direct application. If the position you are interested in is not listed next to your degree, please don’t let this discourage you to apply for that position.

As a student team we cannot offer pay or monetary compensation as all the money that we receive goes into the project.
